Capacity Crowd Flock to Barrow Gurney

Great music, food, wine and prizes ensured a fanatisic evening for an enthusiastic crowd.

Visitors to village hall in the village of Barrow Gurney danced the night away to the talents of the Wanted Men. The regular line up of Peter Derbyshire (lead guitar), Anthony Feiler (sax and harmonica) and David Pendleton (guitar and vocals) were joined by accomplished saxophonist and organ player Ruth Hammond and drummer Scott Hammond. Also performing was singer and songwriter Frances Butt.

Thanks are due to many people who worked so hard to make the evening such a success. Particular thanks to Jenny and David Pendleton for organising the whole event, the performers, the army of cooks, cleaners and helpers. Also thanks to the sponsors for their generosity in providing some great raffle prizes.
Finally a very big thank you to those of you who personally paid for the costs associated with the event ensuring all the proceeds raised have been donated to the Meningitis Research Foundation.
