Harrison's Head North

Jenny & Mike Harrison

On Sunday 5th October Jenny and Mike Harrison will head north to Newcastle to take part in the BUPA Great North Run. They will be covering the 13.1 mile course in memory of Hannah, and on behalf the Meningitis Research Foundation.

Jenny says:
"As many of you know, Mike, my team member (!!) is a marathon runner. I am not. The Great North Run is a huge, but very exciting challenge for me. We will succeed , with your support, in memory of a beautiful girl."

The BUPA Great North Run is the world's most popular half marathon road running event. Participants run between Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields in England. The run was devised by former Olympic 10,000 m bronze medallist and BBC Sport commentator Brendan Foster.
