Putney’s Vintage Pop-Up

Another great sale sees more funds raised for MRF by the Helen, Andrew and Hannah Fickling.
 

 

Tucked away in the quiet leafy cul-de-sac of Stratford Grove, Putney, you'll discover one of South West London's best kept secrets! Mother and daughter team, Helen and Hannah Fickling, run a small but enterprising Vintage POP-UP Shop know amongst it's followers as 'GEORGE and BETH'.  

On Friday 27 to Sunday 29 June from 10am until 6pm the duo swing open the doors to their home to host their sixth annual mid-Summer VINTAGE POP-UP shop; in support of the Meningitis Research Foundation.

ENTRY IS FREE and shoppers can expect to find original hand picked vintage pieces sourced from fairs and markets up and down the country. 

“Together Hannah and I have accumulated an interesting collection of old, tactile, well-made and well-designed decorative objects for this year's POP-UP. 

Many of our items have been selected for their age, shape and patina, or simply, that they are unique and beautiful;“ explains Helen, “there’s something here for everyone!” 
Amongst their loot, you’ll find an eclectic mix of homewares, old weathered suitcases, occasional furniture, vintage textile cushions, fashion accessories, costume jewellery, industrial fixtures, lighting, mid-century art glass along with a collection of curious odds and sods, which make this POP-UP stand out from the rest!

Out in their garden, the the girls will be setting up their very popular VINTAGE TEAROOM  in the fabulous garden serving fresh teas, coffees and delicious homemade bakes throughout the weekend. 

Take a stroll down to the garden shed where there’s more to uncover and rummage through. Here, you’ll find lovely old garden tools, French café tables and chairs, pots, basins and bins ready for planting up !

(The VINTAGE POP-UP is a 2 minute walk from Putney High Street, set in a quiet Cul-de-sac behind the Putney Exchange Shopping Centre. It is within easy walking distance from Putney Bridge Tube Station 

(District Line), Putney Mainline Station (from Waterloo) and Putney East Tube Station (District Line). No.14 and 22 Buses from Central London).
