Wanted Men Caught in Barrow

Over 80 friends and family of the band " The Wanted Men" turned up at the village of Barrow Gurney to raise money for Meningitis UK in memory of Hannah. Many thanks to all the people who helped to make this such a fun event, particularly Jenny and David Pendleton, the band and the team from Meningitis UK.

Thanks also to the local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle and to all who donated the food and drink.
Such was the success of the evening that it was decided to make this an annual event.

Worth remembering that the Glastonbury Festival which started in 1970 with a couple of acts (OK one of them was Marc Bolan) and an entrance fee of £1 including free milk from the farm grew to an attendance of 155,000 and a ticket price of £155.
